The north of the Pembrokeshire National Park offers more rugged terrain than that of the south, small harbours dotted along the coast and hidden inlets abound.

Situated high up on the hill, there are fabulous sea views over Newport Bay.

There are several coves and beaches to explore locally including Cwm yr Eglwys, Aberfforest, Pwllgwaelod, Parrog and Newport.  

Newport is a couple of miles away and has a great selection of eateries, pubs and individual shops and galleries.

Fishguard, Cardigan, St Davids and Haverfordwest are all within a half hour drive.

The Strumble Shuttle coastal walker's bus passes the end of the farm lane and there are lovely walks on the coastal path and the Preseli hills. 

There is also a riding stable at the end of the lane if you fancy a trek.

Carningli, the Mount of Angels is well worth the climb for the spectacular views of the town, the bay and the beyond.

You can literally park the car up and enjoy a week exploring this lovely area of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The coastal path can be accessed easily about half a mile away following a path to St Non's.

Close-by there are many beaches and coves including Caerfai which is just a mile away.

Not to be missed are the beaches of Whitesands and Abereiddi or a trip to the bird islands on one of the informative guided trips in a fast inflatable boat - these are offered locally.

Solva, Newgale, Porthgain and Abercastle are nearby too.

You can literally park the car up and enjoy a week exploring this lovely area of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

The towns of Cardigan, Fishguard, Narberth and Newcastle Emlyn are worth exploring too.
