The Strumble Shuttle Coastal Bus passes the cottage and is a 'hail and ride' service which enables you to visit the many coves and bays along this stretch of coastline and to walk different sections of the coastal path as well as calling in at Fishguard and St Davids, both of which have a good selection of restaurants and shops.

Tregwynt Woollen Mill, famous for its fabulous blankets, throws and unique handbags is close by as are a variety of crafts and artist studios.

The town of Newport is within easy walking distance and has much to offer; a Norman castle and church, hotels, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants and takeaways.  There is a butcher, baker, fishmonger, whole-food shop as well as art and craft galleries and a lively street market on (most) Mondays.  Nearby you can also enjoy golf, horse riding, kayaking, sailing and birdwatching on the Nevern estuary - a protected sanctuary. 

The owners have taken great care to create a contemporary interior which is both aesthetically pleasing and comfortable.

Strumble Head is one of the most dramatic places in Pembrokeshire, the rugged coastline is the closest point to Ireland and the views are spectacular.  ThePembrokeshire Coastal Path is within easy walking distance of this holiday cottage.

The area is well-known for sightings of rare birds and seals as well as an abundance of wild flowers.  There is an excellent observatory on the headland.

Within a 10 to 30 minutes drive of the property there are a selection of beaches including the smugglers coves of Abermawr and Aberbach and the larger beaches of Newport, Whitesands and Newgale.

Goodwick, Fishguard, St Davids, Porthgain, Newport and the Preseli Hills are all within easy reach.

The cottage has been beautifully restored and decorated to the highest standard with every modern convenience and a sympathetic eye to its origins.
