Just 5 minutes walk from the coastal path and Aberfelin Cove, this Grade II listed stone holiday cottage is situated in the village of Trefin on the north Pembrokeshire Coast between St Davids and Fishguard. The cottage has it's own private hot tub to relax in.

Solva, Newgale, Porthgain, Abereiddy, Traethllyn (Traethllyfn) National Trust beach, Blue Lagoon, Strumble Head and Whitesands are all nearby and all worth visiting. You can even take a boat trip to explore the offshore islands of Ramsey, Skomer or Skokholm to see the colonies of seabirds and seals.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path scenery is spectacular and the coastal bus which passes by the front door offers the chance to walk a different section of the path each day during the season. It will pick up and drop off outside the cottage.

There is a welcoming pub (The Ship Inn) in the village which serves locally sourced food and has a good selection of drinks to refresh you after a day out.  The Mill Cafe serves delicious freshly cooked breakfasts to set you up for the day as well as lunches and teas.  They will even prepare a picnic for your days out.

There are many sandy beaches and picturesque harbours nearby, as well as the Cathedral City of St David's.

The Studio is within walking distance of Aberbach Bay and a few minutes drive of the other small beaches at Pwllgwaelod and Cwm Yr Eglwys where you can walk around Dinas Head for some spectacular coastal views over Newport and Fishguard Bays.

There is a bus stop just over the road with a service to local coastal paths and towns including Newport 4 miles and Fishguard 3 where you will find weekly Farmers Markets and individual shops and galleries as well as good eateries and  pubs.

Pwllgwaelod beach, Dinas is a small horseshoe shaped beach with access to the coastal path as well as a pub and seafood restaurant.  A lovely walk around the spectacular Dinas Island headland leads to the little beach at Cwm Yr Eglwys with it's ruined church.

On the opposite side of the road is an acre of ground for your use, with a fish pond, woodland garden and garden furniture.

For those who prefer hill walking and far reaching views, the heart of the Preseli Hills with their famous bluestones is just a few minutes drive away.   The holiday cottage has easy access and spacious accommodation, double glazing and full central heating, ideal for a couple or small family.  There is ample space for storing bikes and boots for walkers and cyclists.

There are some superb walks along this stunning stretch of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path (look out for seals and otters at Ceibwr). The coastal bus goes right past the cottage gate (even in winter) enabling you to walk a different stretch of the path each day. 

Nevern is 3 miles and has a pub, Norman church and famous Celtic cross.  Newport is 4 miles and has a good selection of individual shops, pubs and restaurants.  Poppit Sands, Newport Beach, St Dogmaels and Cardigan are all within 10 minutes drive
